Aug 25, 2009 – It won’t just be hot chillies on display at this year’s Benington Chilli Festival; Electric Motorcycles will be offering sizzling hot demonstration rides on the Zero X, the ultimate electric dirt bike. Fuelled by a lithium ion power pack the Zero X delivers more torque than any other motorcycle in its class.
The Zero X is a high performance machine, extremely lightweight, but tremendously durable for the most demanding terrain. With 23 horsepower electric motor it easily keeps pace with its petrol counterparts racing up hills, flying over jumps and splashing through streams, but without the noise and pollution it offers an environmentally friendly alternative. The Zero X solves that problem as it is virtually silent and obviously emission free. “
