Nov 24, 2009 – China is very quickly becoming the biggest market in the world for the automotive industry and Volkswagen has a huge presence there. That's why VW has debuted a facelifted VW Tiguan model for Chinese consumers.
It is possible that this facelift is solely for the Chinese version of the VW Tiguan and that it will look different for European and North American audiences. However, it is improbable that Volkswagen changes anything on the Tiguan's new styling.
Styling cues appear to be taken from the current Volkswagen Golf and Volkswagen Scirocco models - maintaining a design consistency in Volkswagen's lineup.
